If you decide to get offers/services from service providers, Tourist exchange collects few information (traveller detail, country, etc.) from you to help service providers find a suitable plan based on your preferences. Such information (traveller’s name, contact number, traveller details etc.) are shared with few verified service providers to understand your travel need and contact you directly for any clarifications. This policy DOES NOT apply to information that you provide to, or that is collected by, any third-party, at which you make bookings and/or pay through our Services and social networks that you use in connection with our Services. We encourage you to consult directly with such third-parties about their privacy practices.
The Information used for Transactions:
May you wish to make bookings through our services; you need to provide information like Credit Card details and Net Banking details. This information is directly collected by the payment gateways and banks, not by Tourist Exchange, but if ever stored or retained by us, remain internal and is never shared, except that they may be shared with third party private/government security agencies to screen for fraudulent activities.
At Present we use Razor pay for processing payments. We/Razor pay do not store your card data on their servers. The data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) when processing payment. Your purchase transaction data is only used as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is not saved.
Our payment gateway adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. In order to facilitate your booking, we provide your information to that operator in a similar manner as if you had made a booking directly with the operators. If you provide a mobile phone number, operators or Tourist Exchange may send you text messages regarding your booking. Some operators also require you to provide credit or debit card account information to secure your booking. When you make a online booking transaction through our Services and/or make a payment to a operator through our Services, we may also share with the operators additional information, such as information that we collect from third-parties.
Information you choose to share with an operator when you make a booking and/or pay a operator through our Services may be used by the operator for its own purposes. To use certain of our Services, such as to make bookings at certain operators and to make payments to certain operators, we may require credit or debit card account information.
